Zinzie is a character in Barbie Mariposa and Her Butterfly Fairy Friends. She is a Meewah who Mariposa met during her quest to find the Ilios antidote for Queen Marabella when she was poisoned. Zinzie is voiced by Cathy Weseluck.
Story[]
Zinzie first appeared when Mariposa, Rayna and Rayla reached the Bewilderness. She threw seeds at Rayna and Rayla, causing them to fight, until they realized that Zinzie was doing it. She revealed herself and told the fairies where they were. After Mariposa offered her Fluttercorn, Zinzie took the fairies to the center of the Bewilderness.
When Mariposa figured out that they had to ask a mermaid where the Illios antidote was, Zinzie brought the fairies to the Water Whirls and showed them reeds that let them breathe underwater. She warned them not to wake the baby mermaids, because they would wake the sea beast.
When a pair of Skeezites woke up in the entrance to the Cave of Reflection, Zinzie threw rocks at them, and they chased her until she reached the cave. The Skeezites were unable to get through and catch her. Zinzie volunteered to stay behind when the Fairy Speck said that one of the four people must stop.
After Mariposa found the antidote, Zinzie was carried to Flutterfield with the three fairies. Zinzie was rewarded by Queen Marabella for helping to save her, and it is unknown if Zinzie stayed in Flutterfield or went back to the Bewilderness.
Personality[]
Zinzie is officially described as "playful and sweet" and a "prankster".
Physical Appearance[]
Zinzie is a Meewah. It is not known what Meewahs generally look like, because Zinzie is the only one seen. She resembles a small, white rabbit with a pink stomach, and she has large blue eyes. She has long eyelashes, and pink eyebrows. She wears two small pink flowers next to her long, floppy ears. She also wears a butterfly necklace that is blue on the top half and pink on the bottom. Zinzie has wings like a butterfly, and the top halves are pink and the bottom halves are blue. When Queen Marabella was later presenting Mariposa and her friends with gifts, Zinzie received a flower crown with a blue heart on it.
